Subject was very cooperative and intelligent. He was in good physical condition and did not show any signs of fear or anxiety. Subject claims that aside from the compulsory membership in the NKLP, he was not a member of any organization. Reliability considered good.

Morale:
The morale of the troops was very low because the ROK advances were steadily gaining momentum and because of the constant air attacks. Moreover, the combat efficiency of the Bn was constantly decreasing because of the lack of replacements in equipment and personnel.

The SP Bn was located at HYORYONG on 17 Sep 50. Disposition of infantry units, 1st Div unknown.
4. GENERAL:a. PW saw a surrender leaflet o/a 10 Sep 50 and decided to surrender. PW does not know what effect it had on the other troops since he read the leaflet alone.
b. PW heard of the INCH'ON (仁川) landing after his capture.
c. Red Cross Insignias: PW noticed that NKPA hospital trucks had the insignia painted on both sides and on the rear doors. Location and markings of hospitals unknown.
