PW unobservant and seem unreliable.
LOCATION & ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:Arty Regt was last reported stationed at a point 500 meters North of WHABON DONG RR Station, on 17 Sep 50.
PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted 13 Jul 50, at CHORWON. Received no military training.
On 17 Jul 50, the entire Arty Regt departed CHORWON reaching WAHBONG DONG 3 Sep 50.
On 17 Sep 50, while PW and eight (8) men were preparing food for 3rd Bn personnel, at a point 4 Km South of WHABON DONG RR Station, they were surrounded by unknown ROK troops and taken prisoner.

Ammunition last received at WHABON DONG, 16 Sep 50 (10 - 30 rds per man). PW heard that ammunition was brought from North train to ANDONG and from ANDONG by trucks to their units. Supply came in about twice per week by way of main road.
ARMOR & ARTILLERY:PW observed 6 T-34/85 medium tanks, 2 Km North of WHABON DONG RR Station on 17 Sep 50.
