PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted 10 Jul 50, at SEOUL, into the “Volunteer Army.” Transferred with approx 550 other forced “volunteers” to 21st Bn, 104th Regt, at SEOUL on 24 Jul 50. Received no training. Arrived KOSONG 28 Aug 50.
Proceeded from KOSONG o/a 28 Aug 50 to a point. approx 4 km NW of TONGYONG, arriving, o/a 29 Aug 50. AT Platoon was attacked at 080500 K Sep 50, in this area, and was disorganized when the AT Plat Ldr fled. PW hid in a slit trench and surrendered with two other EM to ROK marines.

FOOD & AMMO SUPPLIES:Received 5 x American “bazooka” rounds on 7 Sep 50 approx 4 km north of TOSONG. PW does not know where rounds were sent from.
US PsW:The Chongno Primary school at SEOUL (located in center of the city) was being used as a POW camp for US personnel (as of 10 Jul 50).
GENERAL INFORMATION:Observed Safe Conduct Passes at KOSONG o/a 28 Aug 50, but did not keep any because Plat Ldr forbade it.
