PW was intelligent, well educated and cooperative. He apparently knows a great deal about the inner workings of the Chemical Plant at HUNGNAM. Examination by chemical and mining expert recommended.

24 Jul 48 - Volunteered for the NKA at HAMHUNG
23 Aug 48 - Trained with 3rd Ind Brigade at HAMHUNG Normal College.
5 Feb 49 - Completed training. Transferred to P’YONGYANG Military Hospital. Pharmacist’s assistant.
1 May 50 - Promoted to M/Sgt and became hospital supply Sgt.
10 Sep 50 - Commissioned Lt (中尉).
15 Sep 50 - Assigned 34th Ind Brigade at SANCH’ONG
27 Sep 50 - Surrendered with 2 doctors and 6 nurses.
Unit Organization and Strength:
2,000 men in Brigade.
Five (5) companies. Four (4) platoons each Co. Four (4) squads each platoon. 10 men each squad. Officers, North Koreans, Em, South Koreans from Cholla and KYONGGU Provinces. Does not know what became of Brigade after PW after PW went to NAMWON for uniform.
