MILITARY HISTORY:
15 Sep 49 - Inducted at SACHON SHO, WANHYON (四川省睕縣), and attached to above unit. Received 1 month training.
14 Oct 50 - 370th Regt departed YONGDONG SHO, SOTONG KU (道東省少通滿)
15 Oct 50 - 370th Regt arrived AMURO KAN (鴨綠江) and engaged in battle. PW captured on 29 Oct 50.

WEAPONS & PERSONNEL:
a. Organization: 370th Regt composed of 2 Inf Regts, 1 HMG Bn, and 2 Arty Cos (2nd and 4rd Cos). Each Bn was composed of 2 Inf Cos and 1 HMG Co. Each Co composed of 2 Inf Plat and 1 HMG Plat.
b. Strength: 279 Regt, unknown, Arty Co had approx. 195 men.
c. Weapons: Inf Co had 3 X 60 MM guns and 6 X HMGs, Inf Bn had 4 X 80 MM guns. Each man issued Model 38 and 99 Jap rifles and 100 rds 3rd Arty Co had 4 X 120 MM Guns and 160 rounds.

TRANSPORTATION OF EQUIPMENT:
Arty guns and ammo were transported on horse back.

FOOD SUPPLY:
Two meals per day. Food was depleted and PW did not have anything to eat for 3 days prior to capture.

CLOTHING SUPPLY:
Each man was issued 1 set of winter clothing, 1 blanket, 1 cap and 1 pair of shoes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
a. Tanks: PW observed approx 30 Russian tanks on 15 Oct 50 at TUNGHUA (通化) RR Station, awaiting shipment to NK.
b. CCF: PW observed approx. one Bn (600 men) along the Manchurian and Korean border. They were border security troops and were equipped with 4 Arty guns.
