3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:Chronology:
20 Jul 50: PW was inducted at KILCHU and sent to the 5th Div (Band) at NANAM. He was a member of the band for 9 months.
Apr 50: PW was transferred to the 3rd Co, 3rd Bn, 603 Regt and received training until Jun 1950. 603 Regt crossed the 38∘parallel during the outbreak of hostilities and went as far as KONGJU.

4. GENERAL INFORMATION:Info on War Atrocities:
PW states that while at KONGJU with the 603 Regt, an officer (Sr Lt) of this unit picked PW and three others and brought them to a mountain located in the outskirts of KONGJU city. 4 men of the Defense Ministry Security Force were there. They had 1 woman and 29 men (reactionists) in custody, all seated in a row 9no blindfolds). PW and the 7 others were ordered to carry out an execution. When PW refused he was told that he would be shout so he and the 7 other complied. 6 had sub-machine guns while two had rifles. After the execution all 30 bodies were left as they lay. This episode took place o/a 26 Sep 50, 1700 hrs. Execution took about 10 minutes.
PW states that 2 days after execution he went back to KONGJU, and surrendered to the SK Police.
PW is now being held at Inchon POW Camp for JA, EUSAK. A report on the execution is being forwarded by JA, 2nd Div to JA, EUSAK.
