The following is a consolidation of pertinent information contained in PW Interrogation Reports as listed below:

REPORT NO.
1143HONG, Sun Hak (洪淳学) Pvt, 19th Div, 58th Regt Repair Plat.
 Repair Platoon consisted of 9 EM and 1 officer
1144KIM, Ki Son (金基善) Jr Lt, 43rd Div, 3rd Regt (code 471 KUM Unit), 1st Bn, QM Plat.
 Unit was not armed, consisted of 12 EM and 1 officer.
 Equipment consisted of pots and pans.
 PW was conscripted 25 Aug 49 with 16 others into the 4th Chinese Communist Division, at TUNGHWA, CHINA. The 4th Chinese Communist Division was composed of Koreans living in China. On 15 Jul 50 transferred to the North Korean Army.
 PW was assigned to the 578 Indep Inf Regt at HAMHUNG and commissioned a 2nd Lt.
 On 1 Oct 50, PW was transferred to the 43rd Div, 3rd Regt, 1st Bn at KUMSAN MYON.
1145PAE, Hyong Sun (裵亨淳) Pvt, 43rd Div, 74th Regt, Sig Co (Code-KIROGI).
 Signal Company - original strength: 30 EM and 3 officer.
 74th Regt H1, 43rd Div, was located in a former Japanese village approx 1 Km NE of YONAN RR Station until 15 Oct 50.
 3rd Signal Regiment (strength unknown) o/a 3 Sep 50 was located at KANDONG GUN, COCHON MYON, DOKTO RI (江東郡吉泉面道德里). This Regiment was attached directly to The Ministry of Defense. Function unknown.
 PW heard that KIM, Du Pong (金十奉), the president of Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Conference of KOREAN Democratic People’s Republic (朝鮮民主主義人民共和國最高人民委員会誒常任) died while visiting RUSSIA on official business (date unknown).
1146KIM, Tong Sik (金東植) Pvt, 74th Regt, 6th Bn, 3rd Co.
 6th Bn composed of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Rifle Companies, HMG Co, Signal Plat, 14.5mm AT Plat, Medical Plat and Supply Plat. Original strength: 3rd Co, 160 EM and 70 officers (approx).
 At HAEJU o/a 10 Sep 50, the 3rd Co of the 6th Bn, received 20 x PPSH SMG’s. On same date 74th Regt personnel received winter uniforms
 1 x uniform per individual.
 PW never read UN leaflets because he feared punishment from his superiors for doing so.
1147SIM, Kyong U (沈敬瑀) Jr Lt, 66th Regt, 2nd Bn, 5th Co.
 5th Co original strength was EM: 126 and officers: 6.
 66th Regimental strength: approx 1,300.
 The 2nd Bn, 66h Regt was heading toward SARIWON (YC 4165) from ILSIN MYUN (YB 5598) when they were attacked by UN forces on 16 Oct 50.
 PW volunteered into the SECURITY GUARD OFFICER Training Center at CHONGJU (XD 8995) on 3 Oct 47. This was not an officer training center but an Army Training Center to attract young men.
 After completing his training, as a civilian he was ordered by the Defense Department, to be in charge of youth training for employees of a confetti factory and Postal Office at SARIWON.
 On about 5 Jul 50, PW reported to the newly activated 74th Independent Regiment at HAEJU where he received his commission.
 On 25 Sep 50, when he received his Personal Army identification card, he noticed that Regiment designation was 66th Regiment. PW was never sure of the proper designation.

1148KIM, Byong Chin (金炳峻) Captain, PYONGYANG AREA DEFENSE TANK REGIMENT, RECON STAFF OFFICER
 Regiment was activated o/a 8 Oct 50 at PYONGYANG with approx 300 troops. T/O: 4 x Tank Companies, ea 20 EM, 5 officers, 5 T/34 Tanks
 2 x SP Gun Companies, ea 20 men, 5 officers, 5 SP Guns, 3 x SMG Companies, ea 100, 5 officers, 105 SMG’s Recon, Signal Engineer, Guard and Intendance Squads.
 Regiment Headquarters was located in CHUNGHWA. The first line of defense until 17 Oct was HUKYO RI.
 PW was conscripted in 4 Feb 47 in SINUIJU.
 105th Tank Brigade, 303rd Motorcycle Bn, in PYONGYANG Sep 48, transferred to the 603rd motorcycle Regiment in PYONGYANG Feb 50, Training Company. Transferred to the PYONGYANG Area Defense Tank Regiment 15 Oct 50.
1151PAK, Kum San (朴金石) Lt Col, CO, Tank Regt.
 CHON, Lee Pil (全利弼) Lt, Interior Dept, Rear Bureau, Trans Sect, Trans Co.
 Transportation Company consisted of 180 EM, 9 officers and 40 trucks. No weapons were carried by these personnel.
 The Transportation Company was located in PYONGYANG and was engaged in delivering food supplies to various units upon request.
1152KIM, Sok Song (金石松) Sr Lt, Indep Signal Bn (code 521st Unit), 5th Company.
 Independent Signal Bn was composed of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Signal Companies (The 5th and 6th Companies were called Independent Signal Companies at times).
 5th Signal Company original strength, 96 EM and 5 officers, equipped with 12 TAI (TAN) Field Phones and 30 Pliers. Unit was unarmed. No wire carried by unit.
 The mission of the Indep Signal Bn (code 521st Unit) was to repair telephone lines between SEOUL and PYONGYANG.
  SHIN, Chon Taek (申天沢) Sr Col, Chief Sig Officer, Front Line Hq.
  KIM, Sang Min (金尙敏) Col, Asst Sig Officer
  Minister of Communication: KIM, Chong Ju (金廷柱), age 52, educated in Japan and connected with lumber industries in Korea before the end of World War II. Member of Catholic church.
  Vice Minister - PAK, Pyong Sep (朴炳変) age 37. Educated in USSR.
1153AN, Chae Hyon (安在鉉) Jr Lt, 43rd Div, 55th Regt Hq, Finance Officer.
 43rd Division Hq was located at HAEJU until 13 Oct 50. The 55th Regt withdrew from HAEJU 13 Oct 50 and proceeded to SARIWON with elements of the other rifle regiment.

1155KIM, Gyong Sop (金景変) Jr Lt. PYONGYANG Security Guard Indep Brigade, 1st Bn Mortar (81mm) Co.
 PYONGYANG Security Guard Brigade (code name: PYONGYANG) was composed of 6 x rifle Bns, 1 x Arty Bn, 1 x Indep Tank Company, 6 x Mortar Companies.
 1st 81mm Mortar Company had 60 EM, 3 officers, 2 mortars originally. 1st Rifle Battalion had 500 EM, 40 officers originally.
 Artillery Battalion had 200 EM, 30 officers and 10 x 76 mm guns originally.
 Independent Tank Company had 50 EM, 10 officers, 5 x T-34 Tanks.
 PYONGYANG Security Independent Guard Brigade was formed at East of PYONGYANG (SUNG HO RI) on 9 Oct 50. On 11 Oct 50, the Hq was located at CHUMGHWA.

1157IM, Yong Su (任龍洙) Lt, 43rd Div, Signal Bn, 1st Co.
 PW was inducted into the 3rd Div, 9th Regt on 28 Feb 49 at HAMHUNG. Received Signal training till 30 Aug 49 at WONSAN.
 3rd Div & SIgnal Bn moved to PYONGYANG on 1 Sep 49.
 On 10 Oct 50 ordered to report to the 43rd Div Hq at SARIWON.

 The 19th Div (Code 332nd Unit) was composed of the 1st (Code 338th Unit), and 3rd (Code 79th Unit) Rifle Regiments, 1 x Tank Regt, 1 x anti-Tank Bn, 1 x Signal Bn, 1 x Engineer Bn, 1 x Medical Bn, 1 x Transportation Co, and 1 x Guard Platoon.

 Anti-Tank Bn had 4 x 45mm AT guns, 8 x AA Mg’s and 16 x AT rifles.
 The 19th Div Hq departed NAMCHON JOM (BT7346) on 16 Oct 50 and proceeded toward HWANGJU (YC4283).
 The 2nd Rifle Regt (code 337th Unit) located near SONGHAK Mt (civ BT8606) on 10 Oct 50 suffered heavy losses in combat. 3rd Regt (code 79th Unit) located at SIBEN RI (vic CT1525) on 15 Oct 50.
 3rd Bn, 1st Regt (code 338th Unit) was sent to HANPORI (BT7832) from ONJONG RI (BT5523) night of 11 Oct 50; believed annihilated.
 2nd Regt (code 337th Unit), less one battalion located at ONJONG Ri 12 Oct 50.
 Artillery Regt annihilated by air strikes while retreating from NAMCHON JOM (BT7346) to HWANGJU (YC4283) during 15 and 16 Oct 50.
 Tank Regt believed to have been destroyed at KAEJON (BT7718) on 11 Oct 50.
 O/a 18 Sep 50, the 19th Independent Brigade was redesignated the 19th Div with the addition of the 79th Independent Rifle Regt and a Tank Regt (formerly located at SARIWON).
