Surrendered voluntarily with 6 others. Physical condition of PW was good at time of interrogation. PW was of average intelligence and cooperative. Information obtained is considered fairly reliable. Prior to entering service, PW was working in a grocery store. Not recommended for further interrogation.

b. Disposition:
PW’s Bn was disorganized on 20 Oct 50. Majority of soldiers in the Bn changed into civilian clothes and went their own ways. PW stated that his assistant Bn commander was captured by UN Forces on 20 Oct 50. On 15 Sep 50, PW observed a huge ammo and arms dump built in a hill approx 2 km East of KANNI Railway Station (KANNI located approx 6 miles North of PYONGYANG). PW also observed an unknown Regt located at OPA (approx 2 miles South of SUNSN (YD3242). On 15 Oct 50, he heard that a defense line was formed CHINNAMPO area for possible amphibious landing of UN Forces. Details of defense line unknown to PW.
