3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:Chronology:
9 Jul 50: Conscripted at PYONGYANG and sent to WONSAN.
11 Jul 50: Arrived at WONSAN and assigned to the Comm Ind Bn of the 24th Brig as a wire man. The 24th Brig was responsible for repulsing any invasion on WONSAN sea coast. Brigade patrolled the sea coast from KANGNUNG to CHONGJIN.
10 Oct 50: The 24th Brigade Hq and its elements started retreating to YONGDOK after an engagement with the UN Forces.
15 Oct 50: At YONGDOK the 14th Regt of the 1st Div and the remainder of the 24th Brig were regrouped and called the 3rd Corps Hq.
18 Oct 50: Captured by ROK Forces at YONGDOK.

Last Known Composition of Unit
24th Brig was either anihilated or captured in the battle of WONSAN.
Unit Duties:
To repulse invasion on the east coast from KANGNUNG to CHONGJIN.

The 24th Brig was a Regt before the outbreak of hostilities.
Knowledge of other units:
The 588 unit and a newly organized Brig (number unknown) was believed to have been in the vicinity of CHONGJIN with the 24th Brig.

Morale & Propaganda:
Morale was low due to lack of training. Did see propaganda leaflets.
