2. ASSESSMENT:
PW appeared to be of average intelligence and was cooperative. Since he was with the rear services of the 15th Armored Regt, his knowledge of activities of 15th Regt was limited and his knowledge of the 105th Armored Div almost nil. He repeatedly referred to the sub-units of the Division by their code numbers and was not sure of the numerical designations of the other two armored regiments.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
21 Feb 48: Inducted into the Artillery unit, 4nd Div at NANAM (羅南).
9 Nov 48: Transferred to 15th Armored Rogt at P’YONGYANG.
10 May 49: 15th Regt incorporated into 105th Armored Div.
4 Jul 49: Commissioned Jr Lt.
25 Jun 50: 105th Div crossed 38th parallel.
10 Sep 50: Arrived WAEGWAN.
19 Sep 50: Bpgan orderly withdrawal.
25 Sep 50: Withdrew to YONGDONG via KUMCH'ON. At YONGDONG (永同), 15th Regt numbering 200 men, disbanded, its personnel scattering in groups of. 5 to 25 men, With no particular objectfve PW’s group numbering 24 began trip north.
29 Sep 50: Captured enrouto at CHONAN (天安) by American troops.

Unit Organization and Strength:
1. Original organization and strength of 105th Armored Div:
1st Armored Regt (Code No 107) - 900 men
2nd Armored Regt (Code No 109) - 900 men
15th Armored Regt (Code No 203) - 900 men
206th Mtz Inf Regt - 2,000 plus
303rd Recon Bn
403rd Medical Bn
208th Armored Training Regt
2, Last known composition of above units unknown but the remaining 200 men of the 15th Armored Regt parted at YONGDONG.

Equipment prior to outbreak of war:
1st, 2nd and 15th Armored Regts each had 31 x T-34/85 medium tanks and 6 x ZIS-151 trucks. Movements of troops of 206 Mtz Inf Regt effected with trucks, number unknown, Believed had one company of motorcycle mounted troops for recon unit. Nothing known of other units.

Unit History:
603rd Motorcycle Regt attached to 105th Armored Div in Jul 49. According to hearsay, it became an independent unit just prior to the outbreak of war (in Jun 50) and was redesignated 603rd Ind Motorcycle Brigade, 208th Armored Training Regt remained in NK at outbreak of war but heard recently it entered the final phase of operation.

Remarks: Primary school grad, 1st graduating class of lat OCS. Formerly Co commander with 1st Regt, 1st Div and the 1st Bn CO, 15th Regt

CHANG, Yu Hong (長유홍) (장유홍) Lt Col, 22, C of S, 15th Armored Regt, 105th Armored Div

LEE, Song Ju (李성주) (이성주) Lt Col, 28-29, Political officer, 15th Armored Regt, 105th Armored Div
Remarks: Was locomotive engineer until end of World War II. Rose to present position through activities with the Labor Party.
