T/O & E AND STRENGTH:10th Div was composed of 25th Code 747), 27th and 29th Rifle Regiments. The 25th Rifle Regiment had 3 x Rifle Regiments, Medical Co, SMG Co, Signal Co, 45mm AT Gun Co, 76mm Field Gun Co, 120mm Mortar Co and Transportation Co.
LOCATION & ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:Approx 100 troops of 1st Bn, 25th Regt, were dug in on a hill (approx 100m high) located 8 km W of KUMCHON on 4 Oct 50. ROK Forces attacked their position during the night of 4 Oct 50, and approx 90 troops withdrew to a mountain located directly south across the highway from TAEGU to TAEJON of their original position,
Hearsay: On 3 Oct 50, unorganized bands of 3rd, 9th and 10th Divisions were going to North KOREA following the TAE BAEK Mountain Range (太白山脈).
PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted 30 Jul 48 at NANAM. Trained with the 2nd Div at NANAM until 25 Oct 48.
Transferred to 3rd Div (People's Youth Training Center) at WONSAN on 25 Oct 48.
PW transferred to 10th, 25th Regt located at SUKCHON on 15 Mar 50.
10th Div engaged in combat in KORYONG area from 25 Aug 50 to 30 Sep 50.
1st Bn, 25th Regt retreated to KUMCHON area o/a 30 Sep 50.
