2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was fairly cooperative, answered questions freely. Knowledge of military information was limited due to short period in service.

3. MILITARY HISTORY:
12 Aug 50 - Inducted at HAEJU (海州) with approx 3,000 others.
15 Aug 50 - Assigned to 566 Unit, Ind 3 Bn, 1 Inf Co. Received 12 days training.
27 Aug 50 - Arrived NANSEN. Later organized the 263 Regt. Received training but often interrupted by air attack.
19 Sep 50 - Ordered to combat, Departed for IDONGMYON (二東面). Marched at night.
4 Oct 50 - Departed for an unknown area near MAJON NI.
6 Oct 50 - 1 Plt was ordered.to KORANG PO to defend the 38th parallel. PW captured by elements of the US 5th Cav.

4. WEAPONS:
PW stated that only 50% of 1 Plt was equipped with rifles.

5. ENEMY INTENTION:
Units near the 38th parallel were ordered to defend the line.

6. MORALE:
PW stated that all personnel of 1 Plt were asked to cooperate with the plt ldr, not to fire, and to surrender to UN Troops, because they would be better treated if they were captured.
Further added that all members of the plt were farmers forced into service, and their morale was very low.

7. UN PWs:
PW saw approx 200 US PWs at YONCHON, heading north.
