They had a Russian made jeep with them. PW states these Soviet Officers advised for the most part on military strategy.
Informant observed CCF across the AP NOK River in Manchurian territory. Dates 23 July to 30 Aug 50.
All the Koreans from the CCF have entered NK leaving only Chinese troops across the river. It is believed there are some Japanese, that were captured in MANCHURIA, among these troops.
The river is estimated to be about 2 km in width. There are two bridges across this river, one being a RR bridge. The main bridge is similar to bridge K in the Central Interrogation Center Target Book, Page B-11. The length is about 2 km and width about 10m. It has two lanes with sidewalks on both sides for pedestrians.
The RR bridge was seen from afar and appeared to be about the same type and size as the above bridge.
Anti-aircraft guns of the CCF at ANDONG, MANCHURIA were seen firing at US fighter planes. No AA emplacements or artillery positions were observed in or around SINUIJU.
