15 Jan 48 - PW promoted to Sqd Ldr (Sgt).
8 Feb 48 - NKA organized. 2nd Detachment redesignated NKA 2nd Div. PW assigned 6th Regt, NANAM.
12 Mar 48 - PW promoted to Sr Sgt (Asst Plt Ldr).
16 Apr 48 - PW promoted to Jr Lt (Asst Regtl Rations Officer).
18 Nov 48 - 6th Inf Regt, transferred into 3rd Div, WONSAN (원산). 6th Regt redesignated 8th Regt.
20 Jun 50 - PW promoted to Lt (Reg; Rations Officer).
30 Jun 50 - Arrived SEOUL.
3 Jul 50 - Departed SEOUL.
28 Jul 50 - Arrived KUMCH’ON (金泉) via SUWON (水原), CHONAN (天安), TAEJON (大田).
o/a 2 Aug 50 - Departed KUMCH’ON. Advanced to west banks of NAKTONG River facing WAEGWAN (倭館). 3rd Div and 6th Regt Supply unit located in YANGMOK (若木) (2 km Northwest of WAEGWAN).
20 Sep 50 - Div Hq and 6th Inf Regt Supply Unit withdrew to SANJU (상주) via KUMCH’ON (金泉).
23 Sep 50 - Elements of 3rd Div withdrew from east of NAKTONG River via INDONG (仁同), SANGJU towards TAEJON. 200 troops, 3rd Div 3-76 mm Arty (truck-drawan) (model unknown) observed passing through SANGJU. PW and 3 others same unit, left SANGJU.
24 2300 K Sep - PW and 3 others captured by US Army unit in POUN.
