1st Div was believed to be more heavily equipped because 1st Div did not suffer many losses at the battle of TAEGU. 13th Div was practically unarmed because they were forced to abandon all their weapons in hasty retreat.
13th Div suffered almost total loss of weapon at battle of TAEGU, therefore planned to raid SK police stations and small units of the Americans at night tq acquire necessary weapons.
These plans were to be put in operation as soon as possible.
The above information was gained thru listening in on telephone calls from the Div Commander, and partly from a friend who was a telephone operator for the 14th Regt.
