3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:Chronology:
28 July 47 volunteered for service with the N Korean Army. Was sent to CHINNAMPO Brigade and took training at CHINNAMPO until July 48. After completion of training one (1) Bn left CHINNAMPO and went to PYONGYANG to join the 5th Railway Guard Brigade. At PYONGYANG received training in guarding railway until 9 July 50. On 10 July 50 the 5th RR Brigade received orders to move to KYONGSON, on the same day the 5th RR Brigade was renamed the 10th RR Guard Brigade. Arrived at KONGSONG 10 July 50. After arriving here the 3rd company were scattered and PW's company went back to SONGHWAN for guard duty. Stayed here from 3 Aug 50 to 24 Sep 50 until ordered to defend OASAN when UN Forces landed at INCHON.
