112th Division: 334th, 335th, 336th Regiment.
335th Regiment: 3 Battalions:
2nd Battalion: 3 Infantry Companies and 1 HMG Company.
5th Company: 3 Infantry Platoon, 1 Mortar Platoon, 1 Service Plat.
1st Infantry Platoon: 3 Infantry Squads. (During battle, one squad from the Mortar Platoon and one squad from the Service Platoon are attached to each Infantry Platoon.

No other equipment seen other than mentioned in T/O & E of platoon.
HMG Company - 3 HMG's
2nd Battalion - Officers and EM approx 700.
335th Regiment - Officers and EM approx 2,000.
112th Division - Officers and EM 8,000.
Before crossing the YALU River, there was one (1) Korean interpreter in each Company with the rank equivalent of a Company Commander. PW cannot say to which Army he belongs, N.K. or Chinese Communist. This Korean has been a resident of CHINA for a long time.
PW's unit (4th Field Army, 38th Army, 112th Div, 335th Regt, 2nd Bn) is still under the same chain of command now as it was prior to crossing the YALU River.
4. LOCATION & ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:27 Oct 50, PW heard from the Company Commander that they were not to be afraid because the 38th, 31st, 40th, 42nd and 41st Armies are now in KOREA. Place - unknown.
PW actually saw only approximately 700 men, (his Battalion) cross the YALU River from ANTUNG into North KOREA.
PW was not familiar with the Korean locale and consequently could not offer information as to locations of units.
Unit mission was unknown, but the PW's Battalion (2nd Bn, 335th Regt, 36th Army) was constantly moving forward until contact with the enemy was made 6 Nov 50.
5. LOCATION & ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:Conscripted into the CNA on 1 Jan 48 at ANHUI SHENG.
Between Jan 48 to Jan 49 PW received basic infantry training in TAIWAN.
31st, CN Army composed of 30,000 soldiers, went to PEKING on Feb 49.
Apr 49 CNA GHQ General FU, Tsuo E (傅作義) surrendered part of the CNA to the CCF at PEKING, due to lack of food supplies. PW heard that 200,000 CNA troops surrendered to the CCF.
29 Apr 49, at PEKING PW was taken prisoner by the CCF 39th Army and immediately placed in the 39th Army.
Received two months of basic of basic infantry training and indoctrination at PEKING.
38th Army left PEKING Jun 50 and arrived at KUANGHSI SHENG (廣西省) after 20 days of marching. Left KUANGSHSI SHENG Aug 50 and arrived at HONAN SHENG (河南省) Sep 50 after travelling 4 or 5 days by train. Left HONAN SHENG 9 Oct 50 by train; the 335th Regiment arrived at ANTUNG 16 Oct 50.
2nd Battalion left ANTUNG o/a 20 Oct 50 by foot and marched for an unknown number of days then crossed a new wooden bridge which spanned the YALU River. The PW claims that the point of entry into KOREA is unknown in that upon crossing the new wooden bridge they did not immediately enter any town.
Places travelled after crossing the YALU River and the place captured were unknown.
PW's unit had not been part of the invasion force of HAINAN Island.
6. PERSONALITIES:WANG, Yun San (王云山), Company Commander, 5th Co, 2nd Bn, 335th Regiment.
7. FOOD & AMMO SUPPLIES:PW's brought four days ration when they crossed the YALU River. Source and route of food & ammo supplies unknown.
8. SIGNAL COMMUNICATIONS:Communication was by messengers. PW did not see any telephones, semaphore flags or telegraph sets on battalion level.
9. MORALE:The morale in his Company was low because they have come to a foreign country to fight. They also lack food supplies.
10. GENERAL INFORMATION:PW's units came to North KOREA on the order of the Company Commander. His Company Commander stated that they came to KOREA because they must stop the Americans from eventually invading CHINA.
PW did not know if there were Militia & Public Security units in addition to their regular troops.
Pvt received 80,000 Yuan per month.
Company Commander received 200,000 Yuan per month.
PW stated that 99% of the personnel in his unit are former Nationalist troops.
The Political Officer constantly reminded the soldiers that Communism is the highest ideal government and praised RUSSIA. However, with the inferior clothing and lack of food, most of them cannot believe this.
