PW was of average intelligence and cooperative. Reliability - fair.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
3 Jul 50: Inducted into NKA and sent to P'YONGYANG OCS for signal training.
2 Aug 50: Graduated Jr Lt and sent to SINUIJU to 94th Ind Regt. PW became Lt and Signal Co CO.
27 Sep 50: Started south.
O/a 12 Oct 50: Reached SIBYON-NI (BT 9941) and rested two days until meeting UN Forces. Withdrew with remnants of his company to YUL-RI (BU 6215) where plans were made to defend the areas.
18 Oct 50: Captured.

94th Ind Regt - 3,000 men. 3 Inf Bn's Signal Co; 45mm AT Co; 76mm Arty; 120mm Mortar Co; SMG Guard Co; Transportation Co; Engineer Plat; Medical Plat; AA Rifle Plat; Reconn Plat; Supply Plat.
When the 94th Regt reached SIBYON-NI (DT 9941) area, II Corps took over two thirds of the Regt including the service units. Consequently, disposition of unit was unknown.
94th Ind Regt Signal Co - 73 men (5 officers) - wireless Plat (16 men); Field Telephone Plat (35 men); Regt'l Signal Plat (17 men).

Equipement (As of Oct 1950):
30 Field Telephones; 30 Wire layers; 5 km Telephone wire (T/E called for 60 km) (7 strand type); switchboard (10 line capacity); 5 wireless sets (brand new) (4 "PBM" long wave for Inf use) (1 "A-7-A" short-wave for arty use).
All the above named equipment from RUSSIA. Batteries were manufactured in P'YONGYANG.

Personalities:
94th Regt CO - LIM (FNU), Alias - WON, Kil San, Age - 35. Came to KOREA summer of 1950 (according to him) from the CCF.

4. GENERAL INFORMATION:
Buried Equipment:
PW buried 1 shortwave radio set, 20 field telephone and 17 wire layers in a farmer's cellar. An old man and woman were here when this was done. Home was 3rd or 4th from the edge of the village. SIBYON-NI (BT 9941). Observation - Oct 15, 1950.
