2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was cooperative but not too intelligent. Information herein is not very reliable.

3. MILITARY HISTORY:
30 Aug 50 - Inducted at HAMHUNG (咸興) and was attached to the 2nd Co of the Ind Bn, 2nd Security Force Regt. Received 5 weeks military training.
9 Oct 50 - The Ind Bn (approximately 270 men) departed HAMHUNG for CHONGPYONG (定平) (by foot).
10 Oct 50 - The Ind Bn arrived CHONGP'YONG, departed immediately for YONGHUNG (永興).
10 Oct 50 - Arrived YONGHUNG.
13 Oct 50 - Departed for CHANGJIN (長津).
30 Oct 50 - Arrived CHANGJIN.
3 Nov 50 - Ind Bn departed CHANGJIN.
18 Nov 50 - Arrived at SACHANG-NI (社倉里).
22 Nov 50 - PW was captured 8 km S of SACHANG-NI.

4. ORGANIZATION:
Detailed organization of the 2nd Security Force Regt was unknown. The total strength of the Ind Bn was approximately 270 men. The battalion consisted of three companies.

5. WEAPONS:
There was a LMG in each platoon. All the platoon leaders and the squad leaders carried PPSH SMG's. The remaining troops were armed with Russian rifles.
LMG - 300 rds
PPSH - 71 rds
Rifles - 80 rds of ammo
2-3 hand grenades per rifleman

6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
At SACHANG-NI (社倉里) o/a 19 Nov 50 PW observed approximately 150 CCF troops. They were armed with model 38 and 99 Japanese rifles. Source heard that one Divison of CCF Troops were in the vicinity of SACHANG-NI.
While enroute from CHANGJIN (長津) to SACHANG-NI (社倉里) source observed a few NKA units (mainly stragglers) headed north. No large troop concentrations observed.
