On 12 0300 Sep 50, while PW was stringing telephone wire from Signal Bn to the 45th Regimental Hq; PW was captured by unk ROK troops.
ARMOR:On 10 Sep 50, PW observed one (1) T-34/85 medium tank 2 Km N of YONGCHON under a tree.
ARTILLERY:PW observed 30 guns (45mm, 76mm, 122mm) at a point 2 Km North of YONGCHON on 7 Sep 50.
Guns were for the 15th Division.
FOOD & AMMO SUPPLIES:PW received average of one (1) meal per day (one rice ball with a few vegetables)
Food was looted from vacant houses in unit's area.
Ammo last received at HOERYONG on 30 June 50 (60 rds per man).
Ammo was brought by individuals and ox carts.

REPLACEMENTS:15th Div received approx 1,500 replacements at KUNWI on 26 Aug 50.

ENEMY INTENTIONS:15th Div objective was TAEGU via Mt trails with the main road as their central point.
MORALE:Morale was very high, because they were gaining ground every day.
CAPTURED EQUIPMENT:PW'S unit captured 9 x US carbines, however these carbines were not used, because their own unit might mistake them for enemy troops from the sound of the carbines.

US PW’S:PW observed 7 US prisoners in the POHYON Mt areas on 3 Aug 50.
NORTH KOREAN AF & NAVY:Heard there are NKAF & Navy, but did not actually see either of these.
SOUTH KOREAN SENTIMENTS:The relationship between the South Koreans and North Korean troops was unknown to PW, because he did not have a chance to find out.
