2. ASSESSMENT:
Information seems reliable. PW in good physical condition. Further interrogation not recommended at this time.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
1 Mar 50 inducted at NAJIN. 3 months military training. 2 months of political study, l month devoted to drill - stringing telephone line, nomenclature of TAM Field telephone. Fired 2 rounds from Russian rifle on target range.
19 Jun 50 approx 800 men (Arty Regt) boarded train at NAJIN. Destination CH’ORWON (鐵原). 12 x 120mm Gun, 24 x 76mm guns, undetermined amount of ammo, 12 x ZIS-151 trucks, 3 x GAZ-51 trucks were loaded on train for Regt. PW’s sqd brought 4 x TAM field telephones, 2 x radio transceivers. Men were issued Russian rifles but no rounds. PW's memory on dates fail him at this point.
Arty Regt moved to CH’ORWON. Here men were issued 90 rounds apiece for rifles and 2 hand grenades each. Regt moved to CH’UNCH’ON (春川), CH'UNGJU (忠州), KUMCH’ON (金泉), YONGCH’ON (永川). PW doesn't remember where Regt crossed the NAKTONG River but crossed on wooden boat which carried approx 30 men per trip. Field pieces and trucks crossed on rafts. 1 x 76mm field piece and 4 trucks were destroyed by US aircraft up to time of river crossing. Crossing accomplished under cover of darkness. No opposition.

Artillery:
11 Sep 50 at IMP’O DONG (林浦洞) PW saw ROK troops capture 2 x 120mm guns and 6 x 76mm guns. Before capture PW's Bn lost 1 x 76mm guns due to aircraft bombing. Undetermined number of trucks destroyed at IMP’O DONG by aircraft. PW states that the 2nd Bn lost all field pieces.

Communications:
Telephone lines were laid between o.p. and gun positions. Telephone of good quality. Lines were also laid to Regt C.P.

Intentions:
Objectives of 15th Div PUSAN.

Personalities:
Arty Regt CO: KIM Yong Sop (金永燮), Lt Col, approx 30 yrs old. Approx 5′7″ and of slender build.
2nd 3n CO: HONG (fnu), Capt, approx 28 yrs old. Approx 6′0″ and of a broad built.

Leaflets:
PW did see leaflet. PW wanted to surrender but did not have the opportunity because he was always in the rear. Members of PW's squad talked about surrendering. Leaflets were read in secrecy. PW states that most of the 15th Div has been taken prisoners. The survivors are lost in the hills around YONGCH'ON.

4. GENERAL
Hearsay - Money exchange: 4 South Korean won to 1 North Korean won.
Occasionally PW heard from sqd ldrs that the 7th and 8th Div were coming to reinforce them.
