PW was inobservant. He did not possess info on his parent unit, because he was placed into this unit on 10 Sep 50.
3. T/O & E OF PW’S UNIT:99th Regt when first organized: 2,500 men.
4. DISPOSITION OF ABOVE UNITS:3rd Co was located 20 Km W of MASAN in the tip of OBON-SAN.
1st Bn Hq was located 500 m West of the 3rd Co.
5. ESTIMATED STRENGTH OF ABOVE UNITS:2nd Plt: Since two surrendered, he believes there are only 26 men left.
6. PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted 20 Aug 50 at PYONGYANG.
Received infantry basic training for 1 week at CHINNAMPO. 2,500 men were placed into 99th Regt.

99th Regt was assigned to 6th Div. Rifles were issued to the men on 11 Sep 50. Surrendered to 24 RCT (US).
7. ENEMY INTENTION:Mission of his unit was to take MASAN.
8. MORALE:PW stated that morale of most of the 2,500 NK recruit's was low, because they hated the Communist gov’t.
PW stated that most of the recruits want to surrender, but the veterans keep a watchful eye over them.
PW believes more than half of the recruits have leaflets hidden in their clothes, but they dare not express their opinions because of the consequences.
9. CAPTURED EQUIPMENT:PW believes captured equipment was used against the UN forces, because he saw M-1’s in his unit.
10. US PW’S:Before PW entered the Army in July, he saw 200 American PW's being taken to a PW Camp in PYONGYANG.
