2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was very cooperative, and did not attempt to answer when he did not have the information requested. Reliability - Fair.

3. CHRONOLOGY:
Apr 35 - Went to FUSHUN (撫順) at 5 yrs of age with his parents where they engaged in farming.
Apr 37 - Mar 45 - Graduated from primary and higher primary school. While attending school, he also learned a little about animal diseases from one of his teachers whose name was KUBO KATSURO (久保勝郞) of AOMORI (靑森) who returned to JAPAN in 1945.
Mar 45 - Jul 49 - Graduated from school in Mar 45 and he helped his parents at home until Jul 49.
17 Jul 49 - Drafted by the CCF at FUSHUN (撫順).
18 Jul 49 - 25 Jul 49 - Sent to MUKDEN (奉天) and assigned to Hq of the 203rd Div which consisted only of Koreans. He took care of the horses of the Div Hq since he had studied a little about animal diseases in primary and higher primary school.
25 Jul 49 - The 203rd Div Hq departed MUKDEN (奉天) on the night of 25 Jul but he does not know whether or not any of the subordinate units departed.
26 Jul 49 - Crossed the YALU River at ANTUNG (安東) about 0400 hours. Stayed at SINUIJU (新義州) for 9 months.

4. IDENTIFICATION OF CCF HEAVY WEAPONS
PW was a veterinarian in charge of horses in the Arty Regt of the 203rd Div. He observed 60 mm mortars, 82mm mortars, 120 mm mortars, 45 mm AT guns Ml942, 7.62 mm “MAXIM” M1910 heavy machine guns on tripods (identified by pictures in the NK army, booklet) and also Japanese mountain guns, and type #92 Japanese heavy machine guns. The Japanese mountain guns (caliber unknown), 45 mm AT guns M1942, and 120 mm mortars were in the Arty Regt attached to the 203rd Div. The 1st Bn of the Arty Regt was equipped with 9 Japanese mountain guns (each platoon vas equipped with 1 gun), 2nd Bn of the Arty Regt was equipped with 18, 120 mm mortars, (each platoon having 2 mortars) and the 3rd Bn of the Arty Regt was equipped with 18 AT guns (each platoon having 2 guns). The 60 mm mortars and heavy machine guns were in the heavy weapons company attached to a Bn. One heavy weapons company was attached to a Bn and they were equipped with six 60 mm mortars and four heavy machine guns (type 92 Japanese heavy machine gun, 7.62 mm MAXIM M1910). One heavy weapons company was attached to a Regt and was equipped with six 82 mm mortars. PW does not know there these weapons were made.
