PW was cooperative but lacked information since he was in the Army for only a month. Information, however, considered fairly reliable.
3. T/O & E AND STRENGTH:As of 3 Aug 50, the 1st Bn of the 875th Unit was composed of 4 companies, with each company composed of 4 plats and each plat composed of 4 sqds.

4. LOCATION & ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:PW states that the 1st Bn moved into MANCHURIA. PW deserted his organization on 15 Oct 50, and returned to home 19 Oct 50. PW traveled only by night because US Air Force planes strafed the roads during the day.
5. PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:3 Aug 50 - Inducted into NKA. Attached to the 875th Unit, 1st Bn, 3rd Co, 3rd Plat. This organization was located at P’YONGYANG airfield. PW was working on odd jobs around the mess hall. PW states that the 1st bn of the 875th Unit was a Technical Bn. With his company until 15 Oct when deserted.

LEE, Hyon Gun (李亨根) (리형근) 1st Lt, Company Commander, 3rd Co, 875th Unit, 26. Short & slim. Oval face with no distinguishing marks.
6. MORALE:The morale of PW’s bn was very low because of insufficient clothing and rations.
