PW was wounded on right chest. Treated at Div Clearing Station. PW was ignorant and information obtained considered unreliable. Not recommended for further interrogation.
3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:PW stated that the 105th Tank Div advanced 12 km (?) south of PAKCHON 8 Nov 50. At time of PW’s capture 105th Div was located at SONGCHAN-DONG (YS0601). PW stated that his unit was flanked but was undecided on what units and number of men. Further stated that 3rd Regt was held for reserve and was located approx 5 miles north.
Strength: Bn - 450 - 500 men. Each Bn composed of 4 Infantry companies.
Weapons: Co - 32 LMG, 16 PPSHs and rifles.
PW was told 105th Div had 10 tanks. However, observed only 2 tanks on about 29 Oct at SAKCHU. Did not observe any at PAKCHON.
Morale: Very low. Majority in unit had no desire to fight against UN Forces.
Ammo: Insufficient. Received 100 rds for rifle at SAKCHU 29 Oct. No re-issue.
