Cooperative and intelligent. Information seems reliable but limited, as he is a medical officer. He disobeyed orders and surrendered with his 6 men to US troops.
Recommend further interrogation along medical lines.
T/O & E AND STRENGTH OF: 9th Div9th Div composed of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Inf Regts and other elements (Unk).
2nd Regt composed of 3 x Inf Bns, Med Co, Signal Co, Engr Co, Recon Co, 82mm Gun Co, AT Gun Plt, Transportation Co & SMG Co.
1st Bn composed of 3 x Inf Co’s, Med Plt, Recon Plt, SMG Plt, Supply Plt, HMG Co, AT Gun Plt, 82mm Gun Co, Signal Plt, Engr Plt.
PW estimated that 1st Bn, 2nd Regt, 9th Div had approx 40 men when they reached KUMCHON on 24 Sep 50.
PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted on 2 Aug 48 at WONSAN.
Received medical training (1 month) with 7th Regt (Div unk) at PYONGYANG.
Commissioned Jr Lt on 24 April 50.
Joined Med Plt, 1st Bn, 2nd Regt, 9th Div at KAESONG and became 1st Lt on 3 Sep 50.
While traveling to KUMCHON from WONSAN, the following places were passed: PYONGANG, WONSAN, HAMHUNG, KUMCHON, SINCHON, KAESONG, KYONGSONG, SINBAN RI arriving KUMCHON 23 Sep 50.

Note: Wounded and evacuated to the rear (date unknown)
FOOD & AMMO SUPPLIES:Food supply line to KUMCHON was completely cut.
After entering KUMCHON, PW did not eat for 3 days.
Each man (7 men) had average of 120 rds of small arm ammo at time of capture on 25 Sep 50.
ARMOR & ARTILLERY:Observed 4 tanks (T-34/85 medical tanks) approx 500m East of KUMCHON on 24 Sep 50.
Heard one of 4 tanks was destroyed by air strafings (date unk).
MORALE:The morale of 2nd Regt, 9th Div, dropped due to heavy casualties, lack of food & ammunition after they arrived in KUMCHON on 24 Sep 50.
MEDICAL INFO:The members of 2nd Regt, 9th Div were inoculated for cholera (date unk). No case of cholera was reported.
