13th Div Hq was located at TABU DONG.
21st Regt Hq was located 4 Km N NE of TABU DONG.
On 19 Sep 50, PW heard that his Arty Co was supposed to cross a Mt which was located E of TABU DONG and meet the 1st Division. From there, they were supposed to proceed to SANGJU. The 3rd Div, which was at WAEGWAN, was also supposed to go to SANGJU. Since the 13th, 1st and 3rd Divs would meet at SANGJU, PW believes the Il Gorps will also proceed there. PW heard that these Divisions would reorganize at SANGJU.
The North Korean Army was supposed to take TAEGU and PUSAN within Sep 50 with the aid of 200 planes which were supposed to have arrived on 9 Sep 50, and along with two (2) Corps of the Chinese Communist Army which were stationed at ANTON} MANCHURIA.
PW heard that the 13th Div veterans all went with the 1st Division. Most of the captured personnel of the 13th Division were believed to be recruits.
PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted 15 Sep 48 at KAECHIEN (价川).
Received no training.
Arrived TABU DONG 3 Sep 50.
22 Sep 50 voluntarily surrendered to ROK troops.
PW stated that on d/u May 50, the MINSEI KUNREN SHO (民主靑年 訓練所) (Peoples Training Center) at YONGAMPO was reorganized into the 13th Div.

FOOD & AMMO SUPPLIES:PW heard that food and ammo came from 13th Div Hq, located at TABU DONG.
Div, in turn, got its ammo and good supplies from II Corps Hq area at SONSAN.
On 19 Sep 50, PW heard that ammunition was buried at a point 7 Km N NE of TABU DONG and about 4 Km N from the first road fork leading to KUNWI GUN near the first water drainage canal. This was formerly the 13th Div supply dump area.
MORALE:The morale of the 13th Div was low, because the men were largely composed of graduates from middle school and universities in JAPAN. Many of them had property which had been confiscated and were non-Communists.
The Communists held high positions and had ordere to shoot anyone who did not obey the officers.
