MILITARY HISTORY:PW was inducted 4 Aug 50 at PYONG YANG (平壤). Approx 500 men were inducted on the same day and were attached to the replacement unit. The above 500 men departed PYONG YANG and arrived YANG MOK (樣木) on 2 Sep 50. At YANG MOK PU was assigned as a rifle man in 2nd Sqd, 4th Pltn, 2nd Co, 3rd Bn, 206th Regt, 105th Tank Div. The rest of the men were assigned to various companies in the 3rd Bn.
The Div departed YANG MOK on 5 Sep 50 and arrived OSAN (烏山) on or about 24 Sep 50.
On 26 Sep 50 the division was ordered to move to the INCHON area. PW deserted his unit prior to departure and was captured by the 32nd RCT on 27 Sep 50.
CIRCUMSTANCE OF CAPTURE:PW was in civilian clothes when captured by the 32nd RCT.
