Cooperative. Information limited because PW had recently graduated from the PYONGYANG Officer’s Training School and was ordered to go to a Corps Hq, at ANDONG for assignment. Upon arriving at ANDONG PW found no Hq, so he proceeded to UISONG. Finding no Hq at UISONG either, PW was about to return to SEOUL via SANGJU when he was captured.
T/O & E AND STRENGTH OF: PYONGYANG Officers Training School.PYONGYANG Officers Training School is divided into sections for training cadets for the following arms and services:
(1) Infantry
(2) Artillery
(3) Engineer
(4) Signal Corps
(5) Armored Corps
LOCATION & ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:PYONGYANG Officers Training School is located at PYONGAN NAMDO, PYONGYANG City, SA TONG but because of frequent air raids, personnel bivouacked at KANGDONG GUN, SUNGHO RI which is approx 24 km due east of PYONGYANG, in recently constructed log cabins and tents.
PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted on 18 Jul 50, at PYONGYANG. Graduated and commissioned as Jr Lt. Infantry, on 24 Aug 50, with approx 500 others.

FOOD & AMMO SUPPLIES:The 9 officers captured with PW on 23 Sep 50 were carrying a total of 6 x PPSH SMG’s, 9 x SMG magazines, 4 x M1891/30 rifles, and 20 rifle rounds. Each of the officers was carrying one (1) "sodu" (12.5 lbs) of rice. This was intended to be rations for 7 days.
Observed 1 jeep and 6 or 7 x 2½ ton trucks at UISONG on 21 Sep 50 carrying wounded soldiers.
GENERAL INFORMATION:PW had not heard about US entry into INCHON or SEOUL until he was captured.
Received no gas instruction or equipment
