PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:Inducted on 20 May 48, at KUMHWA, in 38th Parallel Guard 1st Brigade, 5th Bn, Transportation Plt.
Departed from KUMHWA in Jul 49 and arrived at KANSONG in Jul 49. Promoted to 2nd Lt on 25 Aug 49 at KANSONG. Arrived at YANGYANG 1 Jan 50.

Departed from YANGYANG on 24 Jun 50 with the entire 3rd Bn, by truck and traveled to UIHUNG arriving o/a 21 Aug 50.
At KANGNUNG the 1st Brigade was redesignated the 8th NKPA Div o/a 4 Jul 50.
At UIHUNG the 3 remaining trucks in the Transportation Co were abandoned for lack of fuel.
