PW was cooperative and fairly intelligent. Tactical information was very limited due to his short military service. Reliability - fair.
3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:Chronology:
4 Sep 50 - PW was drafted at SINUIJU. About 20 men including PW departed for P’YONGYANG by train on same day.
5 Sep 50 - Arrived P’YONGYANG and reported to the Ministry of Interior Affairs. About 150 men from North KOREA reported to the Ministry of Interior Affairs. All of them had experience in finance. They were ordered to go to SEOUL.
10 Sep 50 - The 150 men including PW, reached SEOUL and were to be assigned to the Ministry of Interior Affairs Dept in each province in S. KOREA. PW and 16 others departed for TAEJON.
15 Sep 50 - Arrived TAEJON and reported to the CH’UNCH’ON NAM-Do Ministry of Interior Affairs Dept (忠淸南道 內務部). 쏟 17 men were officially inducted and were commissioned Jr Lt’s (少尉). PW was assigned to the HONGSONG office (洪城內務署).
28 Sep 50 - The HONGSONG Office was disbanded and all the personnel departed for North KOREA. PW deserted from the group and hid in the mountains for 2 days.
1 Oct 50 - PW surrendered to a ROK Security Unit KWANGCH’ON-Ni (廣川里).
