PW was inducted at HWANGJU on 1 Aug 50, received one month training with a Signal unit and departed HWANGJU with 300 other men on 3 Sep 50. This group which formed the 41st Battalion arrived at SEOUL on 7 Sep 50. Departed SEOUL and was to proceed toward KUCH'ANG where it was to join the 42nd Battalion and form the 110th Regiment o/a 20 Sep 50. PW became ill at MUCHU MYON on 13 Sep 50 and remained here, until captured on 28 Sep 50.
