On 15 Aug 50, PW unit (3rd Bn) was attacked by ROK 5th Regt. Due to the heavy artillery shelling, PW ran away. After hiding for 2 days, PW was captured by ROK 5th Regt.

Armor:Observed 4 x T-34/85 tanks E of NAKTONG River (near ‘KURAK-SAN’ general location of 1140-1470) on Aug 50.
Artillery:Observed 3 x 76-mm Guns, same place as the tanks
Vehicles:Observed 3 vehicles (ZIS-151 and GAZ 51) at the same are as the tanks and guns.
Supplies:PW received average of two meals a day. Food was looted from S. Korean farmers.
Ammunition last received near ‘KURAK-SAN’ (phonetic) 12 Aug 50.

Enemy Intentions:Objective of 13th Div was T’AEGU.
