Military History:Date of induction: 5 Apr 50 at NAM SINUIJU (南新義州).
Training: Received two months and 14 days infantry basic training. PW fired three rounds.
Tactical Movement: 23rd Regt departed SEOUL via YOJU, CH’UNGJU, MUN’GYONG, SANGJU, arrived TABU DONG on 14 Aug 50. PW says in his Co, 125 men were KIA by artillery fire.

Armor:PW saw 4 x T-34/85 Medium tanks at TABU DONG on 14 Aug 50.
Supplies:Food was supplied by villages in the vicinity. PW averaged a meal a day.
Enemy Intention:Unit objective - TAEGU.
