ATIS Interrogation Reports, North Korean Forces, represent consolidations of individual interrogations obtained from on-the-spot interviews with North Korean prisoners-of-war and deserters and Republic of Korean refugees. This, the initial volume in the series, contains individual ATIS Interrogation Report Nos. 600 through 699 inclusive. The initial 699 reports have been disseminated individually.

The purpose of disseminating North Korean Interrogation Reports in consolidated form is to facilitate filing and to provide using agencies with a convenient guide to information contained in each volume. To facilitate utilization of materiel, each publication contains a table of contents giving general subject headings of information presented in individual reports and an index arranged alphabetically by subject for each unit identified. As consolidated reports are assembled in a minimum period, the timely dissemination of information contained therein is not appreciably affected.
