3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:Chronology - Inducted 17 Jul 50, at NANAM (羅南). Received 5 days basic training at NANAM. Training consisted of close order drill end application of bandages. On 27 Jul 50, PW's unit (2,000 men) boarded train for SEOUL, arriving on 31 Jul 50. 2,000 men composed the 19th Regt, 13th Div. Issued arms at SEOUL. 1,000 men joined the Regt at SEOUL. PW marched to place of capture.
Original strength - 3,000 men in 19th Regt. 25 men in 19th Regt Medical platoon.
Actual Battle Organization - unknown.
Last Known Composition of Unit - No tanks left in Regt. 1,500 men left. 6 X 120-mm Arty pieces left, 2 X trucks left. These vehicles used to haul supplies. All men armed with rifle. 3 X HMG left. 4 x LMG left. Men fed average once a day.

Communication - PW saw phone used between battalions. Lines were laid on ground.

Morale and Propaganda - PW surrendered after reading leaflets from US planes. Bombing by US planes, greatest cause of low morale. Lack of NK aircraft, additional factor.
19th, 21st and 23rd Regts make up the 13th Div. PW doesn’t know where other regts of his Div are located.
