Departed SEOUL 10 Aug 50 - marched with approx 800 replacements (1,000 men remained SEOUL) and crossed HAN River on repaired RR bridge - arrived SUWON (水原) o/a 17 Aug 50.
Departed SUWON o/a 17 Aug 50 - marched - arrived CH'UNGJU (忠州) D/U.
Departed CH'UNGJU D/U - marched - arrived MUN'GYONG (聞慶) (1100-1540) D/U.
Departed MUN'GYONG D/U - marched - arrived SANGJU (尙州) D/U.

Proceeded 29 Aug 50 to approx 18 km north of TAEGU where PW and friend wandered off from their platoon in search of food and water in a deserted village - 1 Sep 50. While they were drinking water ROK soldiers entered the village, waved and called for them to surrender. PW and friend surrendered immediately 1 Sep 50.

Unknown PW’s company did not enter combat during time PW was with it (28 Aug 50 - 1 Sep 50).

Observed none.

Vehicles:
Observed 3 x 2½ ton trucks and 2 Soviet-type "jeeps" - SUWON o/a 17 Aug 50.

Supplies:
Received average one rice ball daily. PW knows of no supplies delivered during time PW was in 9th Co (28 Aug 50 - 1 Sep 50).

Enemy Intentions:
Objective unknown. No gas training or equipment received.

Additional Information:
Observed no guerrillas. Morale of men in 9th Co was low but that of officers seemed high.
