Departed CHONGJIN 17 May 50 by rail - arrived HOERYONG 17 May 50. Trained as rifleman, but never fired. At HOERYONG 1 month. Unit which PW trained with called the "Democratic Youth League Training Unit" (民靑訓練所).
Departed HOERYONG 22 Jun 50 with entire "Democratic Youth League Training Unit" - railroad - arrived CH'ORWON (鐵原) 24 Jun 50 Departed CH'ORWON 24 Jun 50 - electric train - arrived KUMHWA (金化) with entire "Democratic Youth League Training Unit" 25 Jun 50.
Departed KUMHWA 25 Jun 50 - marched with "Demo Youth League Trng Unit" - arrived CH’UNCH’ON (春川) o/a 27 Jun 50 ("Democratic Youth League Training Unit" changed name to 15th Div upon crossing 38° parallel). Departed CH'UNCH'ON o/a 27 Jun 50 - marched - arrived WONJU (原州) o/a 7 Jul 50.

Auto Wpns Co attacked ROK Units 27 Aug 50, but PW remained behind with one other EM because their feet were too sore for them to continue walking. PW and other EM attempted to rejoin their company 29 Aug 50 but ran into ROK units and surrendered immediately.

Weapons and Personnel:50th Regt strength 24 Jun 50 approx 2,500 men.
50th Regt present effective strength - 500 nen (27 Aug 50). No replacement of men. Last replacement of equipment KUMCHON o/a 13 Aug 50. Submachine gun Co supposed to have submachine guns but never was issued any. Had M1899/30 rifles, average 50 rounds per rifleman left (27 Aug 50).
HMG Co - 5 x HMGs.
Armor:Observed about 10 medium tanks, KUMCHON o/a 13 Aug 50.
Artillery:Observed 4 x 45mm (horse drawn) AT guns on north bank of NAKTONG River (location unknown) o/a 14 Aug 50.
Vehicles:Observed none.
Supplies:Received average 3 mixed rice and barley balls daily. Food last delivered to 50th Regt KUHCH’ON o/a 13 Aug 50.
Enemy Intentions:Objective unknown. No gas training or equipment received.
Additional Information:Observed no guerrillas. Saw leaflets dropped by aircraft approx 2 km SW of KUNWI o/a 22 Aug 50. Morale in submachine gun Co was low because of fear of aircraft. Nothing else really lowered their morale.
