3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:A. Chronology:
PW was inducted on 20 July 1950 and received his basic training with Officers’ School at PYONGYANG from 20 July 1950 to 15 August 1950. After training, PW was sent to the 25th Brigade at CHORWON and was stationed there until 16 September 1950. The 25th Brigade left for SEOUL on 16 September 1950 and arrived on 19 September 1950.
B. Unit Organization and Strength:
The 25th Brigade had 2 Infantry Battalions and 2 Heavy Machine Gun Battalions.
PW's 4th Battalion had 4 Companies with approximately 750 men in the Battalion.
(2) Actual battle organization and strength:
The 4th Battalion was committed to the front (KUNG DONG area, approximately 8 kms West of SEOUL) on 20 September 1950.
