3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:A. Chronology:
The PW was inducted into the NK Army on 14 May 1949 and received 40 days training at SUCHON GUN. The PW was sent to PYONGYANG and was attached to the PYONGYANG Security Guard Section serving as the PYONGYANG City Security Guard. On 21 August 1950, the PW left PYONGYANG and went to WONSON and served there as a guard. During the latter part of August 1950, the PW departed from WONSON and went to SEOUL and on 20 September 1950, was sent to SUSAK and the battle front.

528 men in the 300th Battalion (Security Battalion)

One battalion: 450 men

2 PPSH SMG per squad
1 LMG per squad
7 rifles per squad
D. Unit Duties:
When any unit was dispatched to some location, some personnel of the 300th Security Guard Battalion was dispatched along with the troops.
E. Disposition:
The CP was located in SEOUL (21 61 T) in a temple.
F. Morale and Propaganda:
The morale of the unit was very low because the 300th Battalion was not a combat unit.
G. Intentions:
Evacuation possibly back to (21 61 T) the temple.
