Education: PW was attending ANN PYONG high school. He voluntarily surrendered. No further interrogation recmd.
3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:a. Chronology: PW was inducted on 13 July 1950. PW attended 1st Military Officer course at PYONG YANG-SAJONG for one month. PW moved to SARIWON on 30 Aug 1950. He. left SARIWON on 16 Sept 1950 headed for SHING CHON. Arrived SHING CHON on 18 Sept 1950 0400 hrs.
b. Unit organization and Strength:
(1) PW's Regt had 3 Bn and about 660 men in each Bn.
(2) 2nd Bn of 78th Regt and strength was about 660 men.
c. PW said 78th Regt had 18 telephones (6 to each Bn)
d. PW's Bn objective was INCHON
e. PW's Regt was already organized before reaching SARIWON
f. Disposition: PW said Regt Hq was located in YONG HE university, SHING CHON
g. Communication: PW's Bn traveled by the railroad at night only from SARIWON to SHANG CHON.
Morale was low.
4. GENERAL:PW saw about 300 troops in Blue uniform at SHING CHON on 17 Sept 1950. PW did not know the No. of this unit.
