PW was well educated; however, he was a laborer at his home address. PW claimed that his unit was not a Chinese Communist Unit.
3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:a. PW was inducted on 17 June 1950, in MANCHURIA. PW was sent to HEIJO for three (3) days and then to SEOUL, arriving there on 29 June 1950. PW was on repair duty at NORLYANGCHIN railroad bridge.
b. Unit Organization and Strength:
(1) 584th Regiment Headquarters was located at (2157M). PW believed that about nine hundred (900) troops were there.
(2) 3rd Company of 3rd Battalion, 584th Regiment. Company strength was one hundred and fifty (150).
(3) PW said that he was lost from his company because he was sleeping men company moved out.
c. PW stated that 584th Regiment was organized at PYONG YANG on 25 June 1950 and moved to SEOUL on 29 June 1950.
