Inducted into the NK Army on August 1950 at SHIN-UI-JU.
Received training at SHIN-UI-JU fer about 10 days as rifleman.

d. Unit Duties:
PW’s Co was to defend the city of SEOUL.
e. Unit History:
PW’s 17th Division was organized with three (3) Reg’ts (1st, 2nd and 3rd Reg’ts) at SIN-UI-JU.
PW heard that 1st Reg’t went to TAEGU about one month ago and he also heard that the 3rd Reg’t was still remaining at SIN-UI-JU. PW also stated that his Co was directly attached to the 2nd Regiment.
f. Communications:
Roads from SEOUL to SIN-UI-JU was about 3-4 meters wide and condition was bad.
