3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:a. Chronology:
March 1950 PW entered the NK army in PYONG YON. PW took training in the Guard Headquarters of PYONG YON for 10 days. After training PW worked as a mess worker until July 1950. On July 1950, the Guard Headquarters which PW was in came down to KEIJO (SEOUL).
b. Unit Organization:
(1) The Guard headquarters Unit was organized Aug 1948 in PYONG YON. This unit stayed in PYONG YON until July 1950. On July 1950 the unit came down to SEOUL and was formed into a larger unit in Regt. At present, this Unit is called the Guard Headquarters.
(2) Actual Battle Organization: 107th Regt came to the front on Sept 20, 1950, 1200 hrs. The Regt was composed of three Bn with approx 1000 men in a Bn. This Bn consisted of 3 Inf Co (180 men), one machine gun Co and one Mortar Co. Within this Bn there was also an Independent unit consisting of approx 150 men.
(3) Last Known Composition: Over half of the 107th Regt retreated and headed NW from SEOUL (following river downstream).

1st, 2d and 3rd Inf Co's
1 LMG (100 rds ammo)
1 carbine (with 30 rds ammo)
8 M-1 (300 rds of ammo)
2 #9.9 Japanese rifles (100 rds ammo)
100 #79 Japanese rifles (500 rds ammo)
30 U.S. Hand grenades

4th HMG Co: approx 30 LMG & HMG
Three #79 Japanese rifles
5th Mortar Co: Mortars 82mm (unknown amount)
d. Unit History:
107th Regt was under the Guard Headquarters Unit and was organized on 28 Aug 1950. The strength was approx 3000 men.
e. Intention:
107th Regt was ordered to come to KIMPO Airfield and guard this area.
REMARKS: PW was commissioned 2d Lt on 1st Sept 1950.
