25 Feb 51 – 3d Bn contacted UN Forces and began retreating after one hour of battle. PW Sqd left behind. PW with 4 others left their position and came to village.

Food: Each man in PW bn carried 6 days’ food ration. 6 Feb 51 3d Bn received 6 lb meat (pork) per plat from a CCF unit.
Location – vic of TOKCHON. During the period of 3 Dec 50 – 21 Dec 50 observed 20-30 trucks nightly. These trucks were CCF (Russ) trucks loaded with wooden boxes headed south with 50-60 yard interval between trucks.
Observed ox carts with 30 yard interval during the above period.
e. Artillery:
4 Dec 50 observed at TOKCHON approx 20/120mm howitzers. Howitzers were pulled by 4 horses each. Observed CCF personnel guarding howitzers. Information limited due to darkness.
f. NKA Troops:
During Nov 50 in vic KANGGYE observed approx 200 NKA personnel being sent to an unk locale daily. Later heard that these men were sent to MANCHURIA for trng.
g. UN PW:
Observed 1,500 ROK PW heading N under guard in vic KUNYON-TONG (NK) 2 Dec 50.
