Fairly cooperative but not observant. Especially, estimates of bldg dimensions was very poor. Reliability - poor.
CHRONOLOGY:
May 1921 - Born at MUKDEN, HSITA (奉天面塔).
Dec 1925 - Moved into HARBIN(哈爾濱). Graduated primary (6 yr) and higher primary (2 yr) at HARBIN. After the graduation from schools, worked as farmer at his home which was located at SANKOSHU (三棵樹) in HARBIN.
Dec 1949 - Entered NK as conscripted laborer. Worked 5 months at P’YONGAN NAMDO KANG SEO-GUN (平安道 江西郡) KANGSON.
May 1950 - Ran away to MANP’O (滿浦) on Manchuria border but was caught.
Aug 1 1950 - Inducted into NKA
ECONOMIC HARBIN
SGT (中士) OBS: Sept 45 - Dec 48
A. THERMO ELECTRIC POWER PLANT
LOCATION - Approx 3 km SE of HARBIN RR Station.
AREA - 1 km x 800 m enclosed by 2 m high brick wall.
BLDG - One main bldg, 100 m x 40 m x 20 m, concrete bldg with galvanized iron gable roof. Four (4) 70 cm diameter x 30 m high galvanized iron smoke stacks. There were 4 or 5 brick bldgs, sizes unknown, observed in the T/E power plant area.
Observed the above mentioned thermoelectric Power Plant while he stayed in HARBIN during Sept 45 - Dec 48.
CAPACITY - Largest thermoelectric power plant in HARBIN, this plant was abandoned when 8th Route Army came into HARBIN on Oct 48. ELECTRIC POWER PLANT ever since above date.
Subject did not observe any smoke coming out from the thermoelectric power plant’s smoke stacks, since Oct 48.
ARMED FORCES HARBIN

8th ROUTE CHINESE COMMUNIST INFANTRY QUARTERS
LOCATION - Approx 5 km ESE of HARBIN RR Station and vicinity of SHANFANG RR STATION (番坊驛). Subject observed about a battalion strength of 8th Route Chinese Communist Infantry troops billeted in civilian houses which were scattered all around the SHANFANG RR STATION (番坊驛) during above period.
Once in a while during above period, subject heard rifle firing at approx 2.5 km ESE of HARBINS. 2 km SSW of SHANFANG (番坊) RR Station. 8th Route CCF Troops were still staying at above area when subject left HARBIN on Dec 49.
Above troops were well dressed with OD uniform and had arm band labled LIBERATION ARMY (人民解放軍).
