a. Chronology:
10 Dec 50: Conscripted into the NKA, assigned to 10th Div, Div Hq Guard Unit as private at KUMHWA (金化).
13 Dec 50: Arrived HWACH’ON (華川).
20 Jan 51: Arrived ANDONG (安東).
24 Jan 51: Arrived CH’ONGSONG (靑松). Deserted his unit and moved north.
10 Feb 51: Arrived KOKYONG (古鏡) and was captured.

c. Dispostion:
When last observed, the 10th Div, Div Hq was located in the vicinity of CH’ONGSONG (靑松).
d. Intentions:
Infiltrated behind UN lines and cut off supply routes.
e. Morale:
Low due to lack of personnel, frequent air attacks and lack of supplies.
f. Replacements:
No replacements were received since PW was inducted on 10 Dec 50.
g. Supply:
Lived off the land. Each man had 30 rounds of ammunition.
h. Medical:
About seven men of the 10th Div Hq Guard Unit died of typhoid.
