PW was in good physical condition. Cooperative, but of below average intelligence. PW does not know Korean place names, dates nor tell direction clearly.
a. Chronology:
8th Regt arrived apprx 5km N of SEOUL apprx 1 month ago (date unk). Remained there apprx 20 days. 3rd Bn crossed HAN River 2 days after leaving location 5 km N of SEOUL, arriving at unk hill (date unk). Engaged UN forces for 2 days. PW observed 3 KIA and 30 WIA in 3rd Bn. 3rd Bn advanced S to Hill 473 CS 579409 arriving at this location apprx 2 days ago. PW was captured by elements of 19th ROK Regt when his company was attacked and overrun. 3rd Bn CP located apprx 1 km N of Hill 473. 8th Regt CP have not crossed HAN River. 1st and 2nd Bn of 8th Regt have not crossed HAN River.
