2. ASSESSMENT:

3. MILITARY HISTORY:
24 Sep 50 - Retreated with 6 other members of the Peoples Committee from SACH’ON (泗川) to KONYANG (昆陽) because PW served as a security policeman.
30 Sep 50 - Met a Co CO of the 6th Div (NKA) and followed him northward on foot to KAPYONG (加平).
10 Nov 50 - All seven including PW reached HYOPP’YONG (협평) and assembled at a primary school.
15 Nov 50 - 800 young men were picked to form a guerrilla unit. These men were organized into various battalions and PW was assigned to the HUNGBOK (興福) Battalion, 1st District Unit, 1st Plat, 3rd Sqd.
16 Nov 50 - The HUNGBOK Bn with 4 other battalions moved south through YANGGU (楊口), INJE (麟蹄), HAJINGU (■■■), and reached the outskirts of TANYANG (丹陽) 2 Jan 51.
2 Jan 51 - PW’s unit attacked by UN troops, and PW received a bullet wound on his right calf. PW was evacuated to a village and was left there.
17 Jan 51 - PW was captured by UN troops while in a village home.
