O/a 28 Sep 50 Entire 10th Div departed KWANGJU. This Div appeared to be a reserve division and it followed after the advancing NKA combat units. 10th Div continued marching south.
O/a 12 Oct 50 - PW’s unit ordered to retreat to the north. 10th Div had marched to the vicinity of SANJU (尙州). 10th Div with an estimated strength of 4,000 retreated north taking mountain paths and avoiding towns. PW often observed elements of the 4th Div to the rear and to the front of the 10th Div.
Mid Nov 50 - The 10th Div, according to hearsay, received orders to defend a section of the 38° parallel and this division assembled at CHOMBANG-NI (占方里) and rested for about 5 days. O/a 17 Dec 50 - 10th Div was located approx 6 Km S of KAPYONG (加平) and it started to retreat northward. PW believed that only the 10th Div was in the KAPYONG area.
